The Chicago Cubs are back to defend their World Series title in 2017 and returned home to Wrigley Field on Monday night.
After a lengthy rain delay, the Cubs raised their World Series banner and introduced the team to the crowd for the first time in 2017. Baseball finally being back at Wrigley Field is a good sign as fans are anxious for the upcoming season.
With baseball being back, that means the return of walk up songs.
Last year, the Cubs walk up songs became increasingly popular with fans dancing to all of them. Well they are back for the 2017 season with some players keeping the same songs and other changing.
We compiled a list of the songs through the first game and will update regularly.
Highlights include Rizzo using “Intoxicated” and “Bad Blood” again, which seemed to be fan favorites in 2016. Schwarber kept “Thuggish Ruggish Bone” and Addison Russell going from Chicago’s Chance the Rapper to Chicago’s Kanye West.
Some of the songs don’t appear on Spotify, yet so we’ve linked them to the names.
