The Chicago Bears have won 15 games in their last three seasons. Despite tearing down the roster in 2022, the Bears appeared no closer to being a legit playoff contender in 2024 when they finished 5-12.
There is optimism that the Bears will do better in head coach Ben Johnson’s first season coaching the No. 1 pick in the 2024 draft, Caleb Williams. Regardless, president and CEO Kevin Warren wasn’t reading the room before Chicago announced a ticket hike for 2025.
Kevin Warren made a big decision for 2025

Per Adam Hoge of CHGO Sports, Warren made the decision to increase season ticket prices by 10% after “thoughtful consideration.”
“Bears president Kevin Warren informed season ticket holders that prices will increase by an average of 10% in 2025,” Hoge posted on X. “Warren cited ‘careful and thoughtful consideration’ and “incorporating market dynamics, industry trends, and a strong home schedule” as reasons for the increase.”

Bears fans on social media weren’t pleased with the updated cost after the team’s subpar product on the field despite being back-to-back offseason champs in 2023 and 2024.
Most fans speculate the increased prices are due to Johnson’s $13 million per year salary and the team’s plans to build a new stadium.
Chicago Bears fans upset with increased ticket prices

“Ruined my morning. About 18% increase in 2 years,” wrote a fan.
“Product on the field and team record were not incorporated,” posted another.
“It’s called greed, that’s the only reason. The product has been subpar, the fan experience hasn’t improve and they continue to increase prices of everything. People are dumb or rich enough to pay but they shouldn’t. They should let McCaskey feel the economic strain their fans do,” argued a fan.
“Charging more money to less fans. Da Bears r just driving fans away,” suggested another.
“Well I guess now we know how George grew the balls to pay Ben Johnson. Pass it on to the fans. Don’t blame him, but eff him,” wrote a poster.
“North end zone 350 tickets went up 10.5% last year for that garbage product they put out there. Brutal. Keep chasing those fans away,” posted another.
