CB – Jaylon Jones
Jaylon Jones was a pretty unlikely surprise last year as an undrafted free agent from Ole Miss. Jones will turn 26 in October and will need to prove himself yet again in camp to make this roster that’s full of young talent, especially at the cornerback position. The team drafted Tyrique Stevenson early in the 2023 draft, as he is sure to see a plethora of snaps in his rookie season.
I think he has a solid chance to make this roster as one of their depth pieces, but nothing is guaranteed in this league, especially for older undrafted players. If he has a good camp and pre-season, that could change his trajectory.

He had his share of decent moments, as he forced a fumble and had a few pass deflections in 16 games. He started four of those and appeared in plenty of special teams’ snaps. That being said, he was picked on during a few big games, and had some major laps in coverage, an example being the tweet above.
Like I mentioned before, I think he makes the team based on his special team’s ability and familiarity with the defense. However, like last year he’ll need to come to camp with a purpose to beat out some of the younger talent.
