EDGE/DT Adetomiwa Adebawore, Northwestern / 6’2 282 LBS
Another 3-teqnique defensive end that I’d personally love on this Chicago Bears defense. Poles and the rest of the staff already had a visit with Adebawore, so the interest is absolutely there. He has the length to work off the edge, and the pure strength to overpower interior lineman down low.
Over the past two seasons at Northwestern, Adebawore has racked up an impressive 74 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks and four forced fumbles. He’s an interior presence that could massively improve this run defense, as well as the pass rush.
He’s another athletic freak and is one of the fastest players at his size in the entire draft. He’ll have to be the motor for this Chicago Bears defense if he is selected, and I’m sure he’s willing to with his high motor and motivation. A 3-tech is needed with at least one of these second rounders, if not their early third rounder.
