Zach LaVine needs to continue to be aggressive.
In Game 1, DeMar DeRozan had a rough time shooting the ball, going 6 of 25 from the field and 0 for 2 from the three-point line. The Bulls relied heavily on their defense and the scoring/playmaking coming from LaVine and Nikola Vucevic. LaVine had his moments on the floor but struggled overall as well, shooting 6-for-19 from the field and going 2-for-10 from three. DeRozan is not going to change his game overnight and stop shooting his deep two-point shots in exchange for threes, but LaVine has the quickness and ability to drive the Bucks crazy as he did in the third quarter of Game 1.
In the third quarter, the Bulls found a light in the tunnel for this dark series. LaVine was finding scoring opportunities while also easily hitting Vucevic off high screen-and-rolls. LaVine helped ignite the Bulls in the 3rd quarter behind his playmaking ability. He was feeding the cutters, splashing step-back jumpers, and running the fastbreak with a vengeance that had Milwaukee scrambling for moments in the game. In the fourth quarter, he went absolutely cold, going 0 of 6 from the field, including a game-tying three-point miss with 30 seconds left in the game. This should not hinder him going into the next game, as he is one of the only hopes that can help the Bulls pull off an upset win away from home.
