Continue to shoot more threes than usual
The Bulls are infamous for not being a 3-point shooting team. This season, they finished last in the league in 3-point attempts (28.8) and second-last in 3-pointers made per game (10.6). The Bucks on the other hand take 38.4 three-point attempts per game and sink in an average of 14.1 three’s a game (5th-best in the regular season). During Game 1, the Bulls went 7-for-37 from the arc, while the Bucks finished 10-for-38.
Both Vucevic and LaVine shot a miserable 2-for-10 from three. However, the Bucks’ sharpshooters in Khris Middleton and Pat Connaughton also struggled, finishing a combined 2-for-13 from the three-point line. This is something that needs to change heading into Game 2, as the Bucks are not expected to continue shooting as poorly as they did from the three.
