When Derrick Rose steps on the court for the 2015 NBA season, he will be doing it in the new D Rose 6.
The latest signature model in the line was officially unveiled on Wednesday in both a home and away color. The shoe will release in retail stores October 15 in the home color and November 5 in the road color. adidas plans on releasing five more editions throughout the year as we likely will get a Christmas color for the Bulls game vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Rose commented on the latest BOOST shoe in his line:
“This is the second shoe I’ve been able to wear with Boost and the comfort and energy you get back is crazy. I’m not going to wear another basketball shoe that doesn’t have Boost,” Derrick said. “adidas also brought a lot of details about Chicago that I think my fans will love.”
The new silhouette is designed specifically for Rose’s aggressive game on the court. It comes equipped with extra cushioning including the FITFRAME heel cage and straps. The detail in the shoe is incredible as well. To pay tribute to Rose’s hometown of Chicago, the shoe is equipped with the six-point star on the Chicago flag. It also features a diamond pattern and bold architecture of the city.
