For the first time since 1988, the NBA All-Star Game will be hosted in Chicago as it makes its return in 2020. The league announced earlier this year that the Chicago Bulls and United Center will host the annual All-Star Game and activities that come along with it in February.
Details of the return are still being revealed but we finally have some big sneaker rumors regarding the All-Star Game and the city of Chicago.
Per several reports, a new colorway of the Air Jordan III that pays homage to the city of Chicago and the NBA All-Star Game in 2020. The colorway is being dubbed “Chicago All-Star” and “Varsity Red” as it will have a Red leather upper with stars as special graphics near the lace box, elephant print overlays and the Nike Air Logo on the back heel.

The new colorway has yet to be confirmed by Nike and Jordan Brand but will be available at select retailers as well as online for a February 2020 release.
