The wait is finally over. The Air Jordan XXX was officially unveiled in Chicago on Thursday, marking the latest signature shoe in the Jordan Brand line.
Jordan Brand helped a special event to unveil the new shoe with famous designer Tinker Hatfield, responsible for several Air Jordans, was on hand to discuss the new model.Hatfield began his working in February of 2015 said he received his inspiration from a photo of Jordan in the 1988 dunk contest. Hatfield couldn’t do it alone however as he brought in fellow designer Mark Smith to help out.

The design of the shoe features some cool features including a lightweight upper with knit and woven materials, FlightSpeed traction on the bottom of the shoe and a knit cradle helping your foot remain in place. The Air Jordan XXX is truly a revoultionary basketball shoe that could change the game.
The detailing on the shoe features “XXX” along the back heel, the Jumpman logo on the toe and incredible “galaxy” details throughout.
The shoe is set for a retail release on Feb. 12 and will retail for $200. Check out some official images of the model:
