Albert Almora Jr. gets first start of career on Wednesday
It didn’t take Albert Almora Jr. long to make an impact with the Chicago Cubs.
Almora Jr. got his first start of his career on Wednesday against the Philadelphia Phillies and had an impact right away. The left fielder threw out Odubel Herrera at home in the first inning to help John Lackey get out of the inning.

The throw home traveled 201 feet and was clocked in at 91 miles per hour. Lackey and the Cubs didn’t give up a run that inning.
