Chicago Sky star Angel Reese recently faced backlash over a New Year’s Eve post on social media, showing herself in a skimpy outfit that showed way too much skin than fans would have approved of. The post has since been deleted, but not without any comments from analysts and journalists, including “Fearless” host Jason Whitlock.
In one of the recent episodes of his program, Whitlock criticized Anegl Reese for going the route of what he described as “low-class, lightweight PornHub,” especially when people have recently defended her from comments coming from social media personality Charleston White, who called out for Reese to make an OnlyFans and how herself playing ball in lingerie.
With how Whitlock has looked at it, he thinks Reese is branding herself similar to an OnlyFans model simply because she knows she lacks basketball skills.
“Angel Reese knows [there] ain’t no fixing that jump shot,” Whitlock said. “That heave from her hip is not going to be fixed. I don’t care how many videos she puts out here [showing] I am working on my three-point shot and they’ll tie together her making two three four three-point shots in a row. But Angel Reese is not a skilled basketball player. She’s never going to be a skilled basketball player. She’s going to be a rebounder and she’ll continue to get exposed as a bad offensive player and that drives her crazy.”
Whitlock also added that while Reese is often considered Caitlin Clark’s rival, these were also reasons why she would never be on the same level as Clark.
“She can’t compete with Caitlin Clark on the basketball court and so she’s going to destroy Caitlin Clark in the looks department [and] in the sex symbol department.”

While it was not the first time that Angel Reese has flaunted her skin and figure on social media, as she has had swimsuit photos in the past, the timing of her NYE post caused a backlash, given that fans recently defended her from misogynistic comments coming from the Club 520 Podcast, where she was asked to become an Only Fans model to “sell more tickets.”
“Have you seen the picture of Angel Reese on New Year’s Eve? She barely has any clothes on—her breasts are out, her belly button’s out—it’s an OnlyFans-type picture,” Jason Whitlock said. “Forty-eight hours later [after the controversial podcast], here’s Angel Reese with this picture with her boobs out with her stomach out with her presenting herself the way that a lady on OnlyFans would be presenting herself as if she were looking for new subscribers.”
