Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has a busy business life outside of basketball. Reese hosts her own podcast “Unapologetically Angel” and has partnerships with brands like McDonald’s and Reebok.
The second-year WNBA power forward has a goal to become a billionaire, and that won’t happen on her rookie salary of $81,000 a year.
Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese had an opportunity

Reese was invited to have an opportunity to grow her brand on the CBS show Poppa’s House, starring Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr., by Kim Wayans via a post on X.
Reese wrote, “let’s consider it DONE,” in response to the offer.

CBS cancelled Poppa’s House

Unfortunately for Reese, CBS canceled the show, per Nellie Andreeva of Deadline.com. The show was singled out in the network’s decision to cancel before the next season.
“It’s one and done for CBS‘ comedy series Poppa’s House, starring Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr., which is not being renewed for a second season,” Andreeva wrote. “It was CBS’ only freshman scripted series on the bubble and the only one to get canceled. The others — dramas Matlock, NCIS: Origins and Watson and comedy Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage — all have been picked up for next season.”
In response to the announcement, Reese posted a downcast face emoji on X.

Reese does have two network appearances coming up. The Sky will play the Indiana Fever on ABC’s network on May 17 and May 27.
