Angel Reese is proving that she is the WNBA queen of the viral trends once again with her most recent video. In a fresh TikTok video, Reese can be seen going around and asking her Unrivaled teammates to complete the lyrics to LiAngelo Ball’s latest hit ‘Tweaker’. Reese is part of the Rose Basketball Club with the league which is scheduled to kick off on January 17th.
Along with Reese, Chelsea Gray, Brittney Sykes, Kahleah Copper, Azura Stevens and Lexie Hull will be playing for Rose BC in the Unrivaled League. In the video, Reese can be seen walking around the practice facility and playing around with her teammates, especially those like Dearica Hamby who cutely failed the ‘woah’ part of the song.
The song ‘Tweaker’ became an accidental hit for LiAngelo Ball who seems to have paused his basketball career to start a rap one, unlike his brothers who are core professional basketballers at this time. Tweaker has been taking the entire sports world by storm and was also recently played in the Detroit Lions locker room after they finished their regular season with a triumph against the Minnesota Vikings
While most of the players did seem to know the song and its lyrics, there also were those like Kahleah Copper who had no idea about the hit or what it meant. Kahleah Copper looked clueless when Reese came around, and viewers could tell that the Phoenix Mercury was clearly living under a rock when it came to the latest in music trends.
Angel Reese Not Ready To Even Play Spades With Jordan Branded Cards
On another note, Angel Reese seems to be adamant about her loyalty to Reebok after signing a deal with the sportswear brand back in October 2023. Recently, Dearica Hamby, Los Angeles Sparks forward, posted a gif holding up a pack of cards with the Jordan brand on them. This was in response to Angel Reese and Kahleah Copper previously asking Hamby to teach them how to play spades.
Reese immediately shot back at Hamby that she is not ‘playing with that brand of cards.’ While everything was taken lightly and in jest, the tweet also goes to show how staunch Reese is for Reebok. By signing a multi-year deal with Angel Reese, Reebok launched its basketball brand yet again with Shaquille O’Neal and Allen Iverson on board as well. Next up, Angel Reese will be seen on the hardwood floor as the Unrivaled League commences from January 17th.
