The Chicago White Sox have had horrible luck all season long with injuries, which started affecting them during spring training.
During those tough times, the White Sox saw pitcher after pitcher fall victim to elbow injuries, which resulted in them all getting season-ending Tommy John surgery.
The White Sox have gotten by in dealing with these injuries, but their depth is about to be tested further as another one of their outfielders fell victim to an injury that could have him out for a long time.
Another Chicago White Sox player gets bit by the injury bug

Outfielder Austin Slater is the latest player to fall victim to an injury, as this marks the fourth player the White Sox have had to put on the injured list in less than two weeks.
The White Sox announced that they placed Slater on the injured list with a right knee meniscus tear, which is retroactive to yesterday, April 11th, and have recalled outfielder Greg Jones from Triple-A.
“Prior to today’s game vs. Boston, the Chicago White Sox placed outfielder Austin Slater on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to April 11) with a right knee meniscus tear and recalled outfielder Greg Jones from Class AAA Charlotte.”

Jones had been sent down yesterday to clear space for top prospect Chase Meidroth to make his Major League Debut last night.
Guys will need to step up

Slater will join Andrew Benintendi, Mike Tauchman, and Korey Lee as the fourth member of the White Sox starting lineup to miss time early on this season.
Manager Will Venable said he doesn’t have a return date for Slater but will look to Joshua Palacios, who the Sox signed to a minor-league deal and recently called up from Triple-A, Brooks Baldwin, Michael A. Taylor, and Jones as the rotation in the outfield till the others return.
Hopefully, while those guys are on the mend, the depleted White Sox can hold the line until their return.
