Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo is a hell of a baseball player.
The lefty is an MVP candidate for the best team in baseball, posting some impressive offensive numbers. But on Tuesday night it was Rizzo’s defense that was on display.
In the fifth inning, Rizzo chased down a foul ball as he climbed on the ledge near first base in foul territory. He then made a spectacular catch to record the out:

His reaction following he catch was great as well.
The catch comes almost exactly a year after he climbed the Wrigley Field tarp to make another great catch in the stands. That one came against the Milwaukee Brewers with Jason Hammel pitching as well.
What will Rizzo do next?
