It’s no secret that Kris Bryant has become a star for the Chicago Cubs.
Sure, he had a rough debut in 2015 but since then he’s been fantastic. At just 25-years-old, Bryant has already been named the College Baseball Player of the Year, Minor League Player of the Year, NL Rookie of the Year and NL MVP.
Oh, and he helped end a 108-year World Series drought on the North Side. That’s damn impressive.
Bryant has a total of 73 career home runs in just 343 games and has cut back on his strikeout problems. He’s driven in 223 RBI and has a career slash line of .285/.380/.526.
He’s considered as one of the best players in the game and has an extremely bright future ahead of him in Chicago.
The Cubs drafted Bryant No. 2 overall in the 2013 MLB Draft after the Houston Astros took pitcher Mark Appel. Bryant fell into the Cubs lap and the rest has been history for the two organizations.
Before Bryant was considered one of the best players in that draft, some scouts had some concerns.

Now, to be fair this was probably a scouting report in his early high school career from Baseball America. But just seeing how far Bryant has come from this scouting report is pretty incredible.

Oh, and for that whole could eventually end up on the mound thing? Cubs fans are glad he didn’t because they love seeing him mash opposing pitcher’s pitches into the Wrigley Field bleachers.
