The Bears improved to 4-3 with 24-18 victory over Tampa Bay in London.
Matt Forte got the Bears going in the first quarter with a 32 yard touchdown run. Later in the first, Cutler was picked off after Marion Barber deflected the pass. Tampa returned the ball inside the Bears 20 yard line. However, the next play rookie Chris Conte picked off Bucs quarterback, Josh Freeman. To add to the chaos, the very next play, Forte was brought down in the end zone for a safety. Bears led 7-2 at the end of the first quarter.
Jay Cutler got in rhythm during the second quarter and hooked up with Roy Williams for a 25 yard touchdown. The Bucs tacked on a last second field goal to end the half, 14-5.
A quiet third quarter was highlighted by a 12 yard touchdown run by Marion Barber.
The Bucs came out firing in the fourth quarter. Two early touchdown brought Tampa within 3. However, Jay Cutler led the offense down field. But with six plays inside the red zone, the Bears failed to score a touchdown and settled for a Robbie Gould field goal. D.J. sealed the victory for the Bears with the team’s fourth interception of the day

The team will travel back to Chicago and enjoy a bye week before playing the Philadelphia Eagles. The 4-3 record at the bye was the same record the Bears had last year at the bye week.
