Bears General Manager Phil Emery wasted no time in his press conference today by announcing that the Bears have signed 3 players to new contracts.
Jay Cutler is now under contract until 2020. Full details of the contract haven’t been disclosed.
Cornerback Tim Jennings and offensive guard Matt Slauson are under contract until 2018.
Emery said that the contracts were negotiated within the last 3 days after the season ended. Cliff Stein was credited for getting the deals done quickly.
