The Chicago Bears have hired Ryan Pace as their new General Manager, the team announced on Wednesday. Pace served as the New Orleans Saints player personnel director.
Pace interviewed with the Bears on Wednesday along with the Kansas City Chiefs Chris Ballard. Hired in 2001, Pace served as the Saints director of pro personnel from 2007-12. He was promoted to player personnel director in 2013.
Pace will be introduced at a press conference on Friday at 11:00 a.m.
