While running back Matt Forte is still dealing with a knee injury, wide receiver Alshon Jeffery popped up on the injury report this past week. On Friday, the Bears announced that both players are questionable for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos.
Forte was a limited participant in practice on Friday after missing Thursday’s session. As for Jeffery, he missed practice again for the second-straight day. It could just be precautionary for Jeffery as he now deals with a shoulder injury along with a groin injury, so don’t be shocked if he does play on Sunday.
Also questionable are linebackers Shea McClellin and Pernell McPhee who are both dealing with a knee injury.
The Bears received some good news however as center Hroniss Grasu is probable after he missed a few weeks with a neck injury. Also probable is safety Antrel Rolle (ankle) and tackle Jermon Bushrod (shoulder).
