The Bears announced today that they are re-signing linebacker, Pisa Tinoisamoa to a one-year contract. Tinoisamoa got hurt in the Bears first game last season, but came back before getting hurt for the rest of the year in week six.
The 28-year-old looked to have promise next to Urlacher and Briggs. The Bears expected big things from that linebackers core, but two of the three were lost for the year.
Tinoisamoa is expected to win the starters job, but will have to battle out Nick Roach and Hunter Hillenmeyer. If Tinoisamoa doesn’t produce next season, it’s very lucky that will be his last as a Bear.
