The Chicago Bears will likely place new safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix on the PUP list to start camp when the team reports later this week per Ryan Pace.
The general manager revealed the news during Sunday’s pre-training camp press conference in Decatur, Illinois. Clinton-Dix is dealing with a knee sprain that he suffered in the final day of offseason activities:
Pace did go on to say that the stint likely won’t be long and called it a “short” stint. Joining Clinton-Dix on the PUP list will be OL T.J. Clemmings and DL Jonathan Harris.
In other injury news, Pace revealed that the Bears expect TE Trey Burton as well as WR’s Anthony Miller and Emanuel Hall to be ready to go for training camp. Chicago’s rookies will report on Monday while the rest of the team reports Thursday with the first practice on Friday which is closed to the public.
The first public practice is Saturday morning.
