A move that the Bears are set to make is not big by any measure…the Bears are preparing to sign former Arizona Cardinals WR Max Komar. Komar tweeted that he’s headed to Chicago tomorrow.
Komar was signed as an undrafted free agent last year by the Arizona Cardinals. He caught 12 catches for 117 yeards. Komar has had bad luck this preseason, as he injured his left knee. He was eventually released 4 days ago and recieved an injury settlement from the Cardinals.
Komar will not play tomorrow and don’t know if he’ll play at all. Komar is not a big WR and has not put up huge stats to earn playing time. From what I have seen, the Bears are content with their WR squad. Maybe Komar was just an practice squad addition, we should find out soon enough.
This is not a move the Bears needed to make, they need an OL and a CB before anything else.
WR Max Komar
