It didn’t take long for the Chicago Bears to make a move on one of their three key free agents going into the offseason.
The Bears announced on Saturday morning that they have agreed to a four-year extension with right tackle Bobby Massie. The deal will keep Massie in Chicago through 2022.
The 29-year-old Massie started in every game for the Beas during the 2018 season and has only missed one start in his entire career with the organization dating back to 2016.
He’s been a reliable right tackle and by returning, the Bears will likely have their full starting offensive line return in 2019.
There’s no word on the numbers side of the contract just yet.
With Massie signed, this leaves Bryce Callahan and Adrian Amos as the only two starters as free agents.
