A big piece has been added to the middle of the Bears defensive line. He goes by the name Larry Ogunjobi. The DT from the Cincinnati Bengals signed a 3-year deal worth $40.5 million that includes 26.35 million guaranteed. Ogunjobi was a big piece of the Bengals overhaul on defense.

He was a big piece of the Bengals overhaul on defense after he signed a 1-year deal with them last year. He had a career high 7 sacks on the season and did a great job rushing the passer & clogging up the middle. He did suffer a season-ending injury in the Wildcard game against the Raiders.
He racked up 14.5 sacks with the Browns in the previous 4 seasons. His 7 sacks this past season accounted for nearly 50% of all his sacks during that time frame. He turns 28 in June and has a lot of upside if he remains healthy. Bengals fans were really high on him. Feedback across the internet seems to be he’s worth every penny of this contract. Overall I like the signing, the only negative is I believe this means the exit of either Akiem Hicks or Bilal Nichols.
