The Chicago Cubs won their first World Series in 108 years and now the city is ready to celebrate.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel and the Cubs agreed to setup the victory parade for Friday morning in Chicago. The parade will start at Wrigley Field and make its way down to Lake Shore Drive, before hitting Michigan Avenue and what is expected to be 1 million fans.
Fans heading down to the parade might be lucky enough to get a ‘W’ stencil by Benjamin Moore as the company is encouraging fans to #PaintTheW.
Benjamin Moore will distribute 20,000 16×20 #PaintTheW stencils on Friday, as a few W’s have already been painted around the city of Chicago:
A complete map of all the W’s marked in the city can be found here. Benjamin Moore recently released special edition Chicago Cubs colors to their paint line, helping bring fans closer to the game. The colors include: Fly the W Blue SC-63, Fly the W White SC-64, Cubbies Blue SC-60, Marquee Red SC-61 and Wrigley Field Green SC-62.
