What could have been… Rose headlines a list of players including Grant Hill, Len Bias, and Greg Oden as individuals who could have been integral parts in NBA lore, but instead remain more prominent in trivial barbershop talks. To be fair to Rose, he still holds the record for youngest league MVP ever at 22 years and 191 days old, a title he earned after averaging 25.0 points and 7.7 assists for the best team in the league. Rose’s other achievements include a Rookie of the Year award, three All-Star nominations, and an All-NBA First Team selection, but injuries robbed him of his other-worldly athleticism and the chance to accomplish much more.
