The Houston Astros won their first World Series title in franchise history by defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 7 on Wednesday night and the celebration lasted into the morning hours.
But just as soon as the 2017 MLB season came to a close, fans started counting down the days until pitchers and catchers will report.
On Thursday morning the first odds for the 2018 World Series were released with the Los Angeles Dodgers leading the way at 5/1 followed by the Cleveland Indians and Houston Astros at 6/1.
As for the Chicago Cubs, well they have the 7th best odds at 10/1. Check out the top 10 teams:

It’s obviously early and a lot will happen with free agency and trades, but it’s always interesting to get the early odds. If you’re a gambler, the Cubs at 10/1 isn’t such a terrible bet right now.
