The Chicago Blackhawks announced Tuesday afternoon that they have agreed to a one-year contract with 34-year old defenseman Michal Rozsival.
Rozsival tallied a goal and 12 assists in 54 regular-season games with the Phoenix Coyotes last year on top of posting a +8 rating.
He registered 31 hits, 28 blocked shots, and logged an ice-time average of 21:48 minutes in 15 playoff games for the Coyotes in 2011-2012.
Rozsival was selected in the 4th round, 105th overall in the 1996 NHL draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins.
