The Chicago Blackhawks have assigned right winger Ryan Hartman to Rockford, per ESPN’s Scott Powers.
Hartman was selected with the 30th overall pick in the 2013 NHL Draft. He spent last season with the OHL’s Plymouth Whalers putting up 53 points in just 52 games.
With the move, the Blackhawks are now down to 27 on their roster.
