Stan Mikita revealed that he has been battling tongue cancer. The cancer is in stage 1, and doctors are very hopeful that the Hall of Fame Chicago Blackhawk veteran will recover well thanks to the early detection.
Mikita was a two-time NHL MVP as a member of the Blackhawks and played his entire career in Chicago. ChiCitySports wishes him a full and speedy recovery.
