Brent Seabrook will likely be a member of the Chicago Blackhawks for years to come.

Seabrook’s deal runs through the 2023-2024 season in which he will be 39 and was entering this season in the final year of a five-year deal worth $5.8 million annually. He was recently named one of the Blackhawks captains after the team traded away Patrick Sharp in the offseason.
The 30-year-0ld recorded 31 points for the Blackhawks last season and has been a key member of three Blackhawks teams that won Stanley Cups in 2010, 2013 and 2015. He will return as the team looks to win more Stanley Cups with its core.
