According to RDS, the Chicago Blackhawks have re-signed grinder forward Jamal Mayers to a one-year deal worth $600,000.
In his first season with the Blackhawks, Mayers, 37, registered 15 points (6 goals, 9 assists) in 81 games played and logged an ice time average of 9:48 per game.
