The Chicago Blackhawks have reportedly agreed to a one-year contract extension, worth $1.15 million with goaltender Ray Emery.
In his first season with Chicago, Emery appeared in 34 games and posted a 15-9-4 record on top of a 2.81 goals against average and .900 save percentage.
The 29-year old net-minder was drafted in the fourth round by Ottawa in the 2001 NHL Draft, and led the Senators to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2007.
