EDMONTON, Alberta — The Blackhawks acquired center Michael Frolik and goaltender Alexander Salak from the Florida Panthers on Wednesday night in exchange for Jack Skille, Hugh Jessiman and David Pacan.
The Blackhawks finally made a deal Wednesday night as they shipped Forward Jack Skille along with AHL players Hugh Jessiman and David Pacan to the Florida Panthers in exchange for Centerman Michael Frolik and Goalie Alexander Salak.
Skille was drafted in the 1st round by current Panthers GM and former Hawks GM Dale Tallon in 2005.
Frolik, a 22 year old center has tallied 29 points in 52 games so far this season.
Skille has been under-performing this year for the Hawks tallying 17 points in 49 games. Maybe a change in scenery will help jumpstart the young forward’s career.
