Do you think Brandon Saad was happy to return to Chicago?
The 24-year-old winger scored a hat trick in his first preseason game of the 2017 NHL season returning to the Blackhawks after being acquired via a trade.
Just days later, he did it again but this time in a game that counts.
Saad played a big role in the Chicago Blackhawks blowout win over the defending Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2017 season opener. The Pittsburgh native capped off the night by scoring a hat trick in his first regular season game back with the Blackhawks

In what was a huge offseason for the Blackhawks in terms of making moves, getting Saad back just might be the biggest for the franchise.
Chicago returns to the ice Saturday night as they host Saad’s former team the Columbus Blue Jackets.
