Two things are now certain: Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh will not be playing for the Chicago Bulls next season. This morning the story was broke, by ESPN’s Chris Broussard, that efforts for a sign-and-trade to Cleveland or Houston were not going to be successful due to Bosh being non-willing to commit to any scenario with the Toronto Raptors.
Chris Bosh sacrificed nearly $30 million by choosing Miami. Dwyane Wade will now be able to make maximum money – moreso than he would have been capable of making with any other team.
Now the Chicago Bulls are depending on LeBron James choosing them, i order for their off-season to be a huge success. The Miami Heat still have an outside-chance of landing James, but limited financial flexibility will more than likely prevent that from happening. The main players in the LeBron sweepstakes are the Chicago Bulls, New Jersey Nets, New York Knicks, and James’ current team – the Cleveland Cavaliers.
LeBron James will announce his decision tomorrow night (Thurs.) as apart of an hour-long special on ESPN at 9/8 CT.
