Former NBA Champion, Brian Scalabrine, is now a member of the Chicago Bulls.
Under then-assistant, now Bulls’ head coach, Tom Thidodeau, the red-headed power forward was a fan favorite in Boston for years – at the far end of the Celtic’ bench. Scalabrine rarely saw any playing-time as the Celtics won the 2008 title, but it is said that Thibodeau pushed hard to get Gar Forman and John Paxson to agree to add the long-time NBA bench-warmer onto the current roster.
It is fair to assume that his role as a bench-warmer and/or assistant mascot will remain the same as it was in Boston. Brian Scalabrine may be more well-known for his post-NBA Finals interview and (supposed) rap he made about LeBron James in 2008.
Scalabrine, 32, averaged 3.3 points-per-game, in 4 NBA Finals appearances (two with the New Jersey Nets), so far throughout his NBA career. His one-year deal with the Bulls is non-guaranteed.

I think this is a terrible move by the bulls. Scalabrine has little to no talent and only hits shots when he is left wide open on the floor. He is a waste of space on the bulls bench and they are better off going out and signing a young rookie that the organization can groom into a formidable bench player.
