The Chicago Bulls have signed shooting guard Ronnie Brewer to a 3 year/12.5 million dollar deal. They missed out on J.J. Redick as the Magic matched the Bulls offer to retain him, but wasted no time in getting SG Ronnie Brewer, formerly of the Utah Jazz. Surprisingly, Brewer is the 3rd player that the Bulls have signed that was on the Utah Jazz…

On the same day the Orlando Magic matched the Bulls’ three-year, $20 million offer sheet on J.J. Redick, the Bulls moved quickly to their next target, signing former Jazz guard Ronnie Brewer to a three-year, $12.5 million contract.
A source close to Brewer said the opportunity to start at shooting guard appealed to him, which is why he turned down an offer from the defending Eastern Conference champion Boston Celtics.
“This is a great opportunity for him,” said Henry Thomas, his Chicago-based representative. “He can help them at both ends.”
