Make that 17 in a row when the Chicago Bulls play at the United Center on Thursday nights on TNT.
The Bulls beat the Boston Celtics 104-103 to extend their unique winning streak while on the national stage for Thursday nights. But this one came with some controversy.
Trailing by just one with seconds left, the Bulls ran an iso for Jimmy Butler. The guard then pulled up for a shot, releasing it before time expired as it clanked the front iron of the rim.
Boston thinks they won the game, but an official actually blew his whistle for a foul call. Butler signals that Celtics guard Marcus Smart hit his elbow on the shot attempt. The Celtics can’t believe it.
You can judge for yourself:

Butler made both free throws and Al Horford’s shot was no good as the Bulls won.
Following the game, Butler stuck by the refs decision and said he was fouled. “A foul is a foul. He hit my elbow,” said Butler.
The Bulls got a much-needed win and their second-straight to end the first half of the NBA season as we go into the All-Star break.
