An offensive lineman is standing out at the Senior Bowl
One offensive lineman has been having a solid week in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.
Texas Tech offensive lineman Caleb Rogers has been working out as an offensive guard and offensive tackle this week. The 6-foot-5, 310-pound athlete started his career in college playing left and right tackle. He has some experience as a guard, as the Red Raiders moved him to left guard during the 2024 season.
In total, Rogers has played 301 snaps at guard in college compared to his 4,020 snaps at tackle.
Caleb Rogers has met with the Chicago Bears
Following Wednesday’s practice, Rogers confirmed he met with the Bears.
“I love them,” Rogers said of what he thought of his interview with Chicago. “It seems like they love me, or at least I hope they do…got into some just familiarity, but also got into some football stuff, getting on the board, getting on, you know, like watching my own tape, looking for recall, that type of stuff. So I feel it’s gone pretty well.”

Rogers said he plans to play wherever an NFL team needs him. He thinks he has the athleticism to play at tackle but thinks he can play his best football at Guard or center.
“I mean, the plan is basically for to be able to play wherever they need me to play, just be a real versatile guy, Swiss army tool, wherever they need me,” Rogers said. “I think that my biggest upside is at guard or at center. My athleticism helps me at tackle, but at the interior, it allows me to flash and like just really do some things that other people can’t necessarily do that position.”
Bleacher Report projects Rogers as a round-three or round-four pick. Rogers was a three-star recruit out of Mansfield, Texas, per 247Sports.
