Each summer cities host basketball leagues to promote the game and put on a show for fans. That includes Chicago, who hosts one of the best summer league’s the country has to offer.
The “Chi League” is back for 2016 and despite it being only one weekend, it still has plenty to offer. This year’s event will take place at Whitney Young and will kickoff Saturday morning with the doors opening at 9am.
Festivities for the weekend include a “Rising Stars” game, an “Influencers” Game, Slam Dunk contest, 3-point shootout and the tournament itself.
Tournament action gets started at 10:25 a.m. on Saturday, July 30 with a total of 7 games that day. Check out the full schedule below:
The tournament will be a single-elimination format, with the Championship Game taking place on Sunday, July 31 at 7:15 p.m.
