OL, Donovan Jackson – Ohio State
With this Chicago Bears offensive line needing change, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Tevin Jenkins in another uniform next season. This would lead to the Bears really dialing in on selecting multiple offensive lineman, and potentially selecting them early.
Donovan Jackson is a tank, the 6’4 320 pound guard projects to be an immediate starter when he is selected in the 2025 NFL draft. Whether it be pass protection, or moving bodies in the run game, Jackson is a mauler and should succeed at the next level with ease.
In Ohio State’s victory over Texas a few days ago, Jackson had a monster performance, allowing zero pressures on 38 pass blocking snaps. Many Buckeye fans think he’s been an unsung hero for the team during their championship run.
Even if Braxton Jones is still in a Chicago Bears uniform next year, there’s no guarantee his replacement won’t be drafted. Jackson can play either guard position, as well as left tackle, as his versatility on the offensive line will prove valuable for any team he’s selected too.
