3. Chicago Bears draft Paris Johnson Jr.
Poles tried hitting jump shots with his first three picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. The team needed, well, pretty much the same positional help in premium positions they do this offseason. He went with a cornerback, safety, and 24-year-old wide receiver/kick returner. Ohio State left tackle Johnson would be a layup for Poles in his second draft.
Johnson is the safest choice for the Bears to take for the offensive line. Broderick Jones and Darnell Wright are players with high ceilings but are project players. Peter Skoronki is, well, a guard. And the Bears have a ton of those. Johnson would be a solid pick that no one in Chicago would cry about taking.
