Equanimeous St. Brown, Chicago Bears
Poles is very fond of Equanimeous St. Brown. While he has not made very many catches (26 catches in two seasons), he is an excellent blocker. He will go downfield and make the blocks to help the other receivers break loose. Additionally, he will block in the running game. There aren’t very many receivers who do that. With his 6-foot-5, 220-pound frame, he can certainly move a few bodies.
St. Brown is someone who will do whatever the team asks of him. If he has to do punt returns or kickoff returns he will do it, no questions asked. He will do the dirty work that others shy away from. He will never be a star, but he doesn’t need to be one.
St. Brown saw a lot of snaps in his two seasons in Chicago. In three seasons with the Green Bay Packers, he saw 846 snaps. In just two with the Chicago Bears, he had 768. He showed that he can do a lot of the underappreciated things that help a team win.
