WR Daurice Fountain
Fountain could end up being the sixth wide out on roster if they decide to keep that many. He’s spent now 5 years in the league, but he’s only appeared in 8 games during that span, as he was a member of the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice squad last season.
Fountain had a good camp, and a very solid preseason. After the injury to Dante Pettis, that opens a potential spot for Fountain to slip in, if St. Brown isn’t the route they want to go. It’s not incredibly likely, as this one would truly be a surprise, because St. Brown offers good run blocking and special teams ability.
Nathan Peterman rolls out and throws a BEAUTIFUL TD pass to Daurice Fountain 🎯

He’s been one of the best receivers, statistically, in the preseason. Fountain has 7 catches on 116 yards, and even got in the end zone against the Colts as you can see above. It was a great throw by Peterman, but an even better catch by Fountain.
This may be a reach, but I like Fountain’s ability to catch punts as well. Tyler Scott and Velus Jones are the clear options at the moment, but that could change after one snap. He’ll almost certainly end up on the practice squad if he doesn’t make the 53-man.
