Round 5, pick 148: DL/EDGE Moro Ojomo, Texas / 6’3 292 LBS
The Nigerian-born Moro Ojomo is the second selection here in the fifth round for the Chicago Bears. Ojomo isn’t a true edge-rusher as he operates best inside the line, he tallied 24 total pressures which included 18 QB hurries, one QB hit, and 5 sacks in the 2022 season.
In my opinion, the Chicago Bears MUST nail a few of these fifth and fourth round selections. There’s a plethora of diamonds that can be found in this range every season. They’ll have even more selections if Poles does indeed decide to trade back from nine.
Another sleeper: Texas DL Moro Ojomo. Explosive pass rusher with great length. 56th on my board right now pic.twitter.com/QxrCbwWvQd

Ojomo is another high-motor player that I think would benefit the Bears greatly. That seems to be the theme in this mock. He’s got very active hands and impressive upper body strength that helps him throw blockers away. A true bullrush type of lineman that could immediately be a factor for this pass rush.
He does need to become more agile at the next level in order to stay consistent. He’s a one directional type of rusher that needs to add a bit more to his toolbox. If he somehow makes it to the fifth I could absolutely see the Bears making a move for Ojomo.
