Round 5, Pick 136: OT/OG Braeden Daniels, Utah / 6’4 295 LBS
Daniels is on the smaller side for an interior or outside lineman but makes up for it with his impressive athleticism and agility for the position. Last season, he started all 14 games at left tackle and was named to the Pac-12 All-Conference team. He’s got a ton of potential to develop and with some added weight could be a starter one day.
Out of his 43 career starts, he made 18 at left guard, 14 at left tackle, and 11 at right tackle. That’s my favorite thing about him, his willingness to move around the line and become flexible at any position. Most NFL teams are starting to realize how truly valuable it is to have a versatile lineman. Check out how fast he is.
Braeden Daniels is MOVING. 😳

It’s obvious he needs to gain weight in order to avoid the bigger edge rushers bullying him around. But other than that, I didn’t see too many holes in his game. Daniels is surely a name to watch out for in the later rounds.
