UPDATE: Antrel Rolle has officially signed with the Bears.
Free agent safety Antrel Rolle could be close to a deal with the Chicago Bears according to reports.
With the NFL free agency period opening up just minutes ago, it looks like the Bears could be making their second signing that we know off. The 32-year-old Rolle expressed interest in joining the the Bears after being released by the Giants. Today he is at Halas Hall

Rolle had 87 tackles and 3 interceptions with the Giants last season. The move doesn’t suggest Rolle will be a starter, more of a move to compete with former Giants safety Ryan Mundy. The Bears could still be in the market for a free agent safety.
