AJ Dillon flips from Green Bay. Packers to Chicago Bears
AJ Dillon has spent his entire NFL career playing for the Bears’ biggest enemy, the Green Bay Packers. However, he has worked predominantly as a backup running back during that time. While some may view that as an indictment of his talent, others may say it shows how strong Dillon is in his role.
Over his four years with the Packers, Dillon has run 597 times for 2,428 yards and 16 touchdowns. He has added another 763 yards and two touchdowns through the air on 86 receptions.
Dillon has at least 22 grabs his past three seasons, so while he isn’t the biggest playmaker through the air, he isn’t a dud. The running back is more of a between-the-tackles bruiser, which could cut into Johnson’s role. However, he would give the Bears a veteran back who knows how to succeed when called upon.
His skillset might be a bit redundant to Swift’s. However, Dillon would give Johnson another strong running option to fit into his scheme.
